- And the latest record that Howard has set regarding home runs is the one for fewest games needed to achieve 200 home runs. He did so with 658 games, between 2004 and 2009. Ralph Kiner was the man that he beat again. The previous record was 706 games, and it was set between 1946 and 1950.

- Howard managed to get at least one RBI (run batted in) made in postseason games that took place in the very same season (2009), with 7. He also holds the record for the least amount of run batted in after season matches, with 8.

- The last record that Howard currently holds is the one for most strikeouts in a world series, with 13, surpassing Willie Wilson, who in 1980 set the record with 12.
