The 6th James Bond Got Married

The 6th actor portraying the famous James Bond character, Daniel Craig has married fellow British Oscar Award-winning actress Rachel Weisz after their six months whirlwind romance according to recent reports. They apparently held an ultra secret wedding ceremony in New York.

According to reports, there were only four guests who attended the secret wedding including two family friends who acted as witnesses, Daniel’s daughter and Rachel’s son. Craig and Weisz at 43 and 41 years old respectively would call it a marriage in a ripe age. They even spent their Christmas time together in United Kingdom in December, 2010.

Apparently, their romance began when they teamed up to complete a forthcoming Dream House as they played a married couple relocating into a quaint New England town only to discover that their new home has been a structural witness to different horrifying murders.

They were reported to have a “friendly relationship” for years but recently began to tickle their romantic sides during the set of the film which will hit theatres this coming September.

Daniel Craig is one of the actors who played the James Bond flicks and acted in several other films like Layer Cake, Munich and The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo. He has a teenage daughter Ella, 18 years old, from his previous marriage to Fiona Loudon, who is a Scottish actress. He was then engage for 5 years to film producer Satsuki Mitchell who was his long-term girlfriend before they broke up in 2010. He has two outings as M16 agent 007, Casino Royale and Quantum of Solace and he is due to repeat a role in the 23rd Bond installment directed by another British fellow, Sam Mendes which will be released in November next year.

Rachel Weisz, on the other hand, won the supporting Academy Award in the 2005 drama “The Constant Gardener.” She has a son Henry, 4 years old, from her previous nine year relationship with Black Swan director Darren Aronofsky which ended also in 2010. She will be seen in The Whistleblower, which is a thriller to be released in August 5 this year.

There was no long courtship between the two. They pulled off a near impossible secret wedding in Hollywood away from the press and too much publicity. Whether or not they could pull off a good relationship from this whirlwind romance is completely up to them.
