Chris Colfer – Actor, Golden Globe Winner and Screenwriter

 

Chris Colfer – one of the Glee’s leading actors – has now hit the big screen as a screenwriter of Disney Channel’s “The Little Leftover Witch” which is going to begin shooting soon.

 

It has been the greatest year for celebrity star Chris Colfer.

 

He won the Golden Globe award in January for his sensational character Kurt Hummel on “Glee.” In addition to this, being an actor on the music sensation TV series “Glee” has already been an achievement by itself and now he is going to add another bit of information on his resume as the screenwriter of Disney Channel.

 

His impressive resume is building up.

 

Chris Colfer – 20 years old, actor and Golden Globe winner – has been reported to be the pen pilot for the Disney Channel. “The Little Leftover Witch” has been based on the children’s book with the same title written by Florence Laughlin.

 

These consecutive achievements will leave us looking forward to what he will achieve in the future if he continues forth with his career.

 

The Disney Channel series’ plot revolves around a little witch who was welcomed and adopted into a family after she crash landed on her broomstick. It is a story inspired by a children’s book and thus can be expected to be exciting, thrilling, entertaining and full of lessons to learn for kids and adults alike.

 

In addition to this series which is about to begin shooting soon, Chris Colfer has also written an indie comedy entitled “Struck by Lightning.” He will be shooting this series over the summer after wrapping up the second season of his popular TV series – Glee as well as completing the Glee cast on tour.

 

But his achievement doesn’t stop there, according to previous reports, Glee cast, small screen star Chris Colfer has made it to the top 100 most influential people in the world in Time Magazine along with Hollywood popular icons which includes Amy Poehler, Mark Zuckerberg who is the Facebook co-founder, Colin Firth, creator of “Mad Men” Matthew Weiner and famous star “Bourne Identity” Matt Damon.

 

His Glee co-star Dianna Agron has thought of and spoke of highly about Chris Colfer stating that Chris – in his 20 years – has lived his life on extreme truth and genuineness.

 

He was found to be against the bullying epidemic that many teens are facing in their high school years because he felt the same and experienced the same during his time in high school. His character Kurt Hummel reflects the truth and genuineness of his feelings which could leave the audience and even his co-stars.
